Gentle care begins with
understanding.
Gentle, age-appropriate chiropractic care for babies with movement, comfort, feeding-position, settling or head-turning concerns. We look for musculoskeletal factors that may be contributing and explain how care may help.

How chiropractic may help
More comfortable movement for feeding positions
A baby-focused chiropractic assessment can look at head-turning, jaw and neck comfort, trunk movement and the positions your baby accepts. When tension or restricted movement appears relevant, gentle care may help your baby move and settle into feeding positions more comfortably.
What we assess
Comfort turning both ways, neck and jaw movement, trunk symmetry and the positions your baby prefers.
How care may support
Gentle care aims to improve comfortable movement and reduce physical barriers around positioning. Lactation support can work alongside care when useful.
How we can help
01
Movement and joint assessment
We look at head turning, neck and trunk movement, muscle tension, symmetry and positions your baby finds comfortable.
02
Gentle, individual care
When the assessment identifies a musculoskeletal concern, care is adapted to your baby’s age, size and comfort.
03
Progress review and teamwork
We monitor how your baby responds, adjust the plan and involve feeding, physiotherapy or medical support only when it adds value.

What we look for
The physical factors behind the pattern you notice
-
Listening to your baby’s health, pregnancy and birth history
-
Observing comfortable head, neck and trunk movement
-
Checking joint function, muscle tension and movement symmetry
-
Connecting the findings with feeding positions, settling or head preference
How care may support
Comfortable
movement, positioning and physical ease
-
Encouraging easier head turning and balanced movement
-
Reducing musculoskeletal tension when present
-
Supporting comfort in feeding and awake positions
-
Giving parents practical positioning ideas and a clear review plan
A micro-moment
Your baby sets the pace.
Press and hold the circle. A baby-led visit leaves room to pause, observe and respond.
No rushing.
Your first visit
Calm, unhurried and explained step by step.
01
Tell the story
We begin with what you have noticed, alongside pregnancy, birth, feeding and relevant medical history.
02
Observe together
We watch your baby’s natural movement and, when appropriate, perform a gentle, clothed musculoskeletal assessment.
Your baby can stay close to you. The assessment is guided by their comfort, and you can pause or ask questions at any time.
03
Choose the right route
We explain what we found and whether monitoring, home guidance, care or referral is the most appropriate next step.

Questions are welcome
Clear answers for careful parents.
Good care should make your choices easier to understand—not add pressure.
When may baby chiropractic be helpful?
A baby-focused assessment may be helpful when you notice a persistent head-turning preference, movement asymmetry, position-related discomfort, physical tension, feeding-position difficulty or a baby who seems hard to settle. Care is recommended only when the assessment finds a relevant musculoskeletal factor.
Can chiropractic help with feeding, crying, reflux-like or sleep concerns?
It may help when restricted movement, muscle tension or position-related discomfort contributes to how a baby feeds, settles or rests. The goal is to improve musculoskeletal comfort—not to claim a cure for an underlying feeding, digestive or sleep disorder. Some babies respond well, while others may need a different kind of support.
What happens during the first appointment?
We listen first, review relevant history and observe how your baby moves naturally. Any physical assessment is adapted to their age and comfort. We then explain the findings and the most appropriate next step before care is considered.
What if my baby always looks to one side?
This is a common reason to book a baby chiropractic assessment. We examine neck movement, joint function, muscle tension and body symmetry, then provide gentle care and positioning guidance when appropriate. If the head shape or examination suggests another assessment would help, we will explain that clearly.
Is baby care the same as adult chiropractic?
No. The history, examination, positioning and any proposed technique must be adapted to an infant’s age, size, development and individual findings. We explain the approach and obtain parental consent before proceeding.
When should I seek medical care first?
Seek prompt medical advice if your baby has fever, breathing difficulty, poor responsiveness, feeding refusal, poor weight gain, green or bloody vomit, projectile vomiting, dehydration, an unusual cry, or if your instincts tell you something is wrong.
