02 / HER STORY

It began
with
family.

A personal beginning.
A considered approach to care.

From a young age, I was driven by a heartfelt goal - to help my grandmother find relief from her chronic back pain. Watching someone I love struggle with discomfort sparked my desire to pursue a career where I could truly make a difference in people's lives.

My interest in chiropractic began in high school after learning from a classmate that her sister was studying chiropractic. At that time, I believed chiropractic care was mainly about relieving pain and restoring movement. However, as I pursued formal education in the field, I discovered that chiropractic is much more than that.

Through continuous studies, I gained a deeper understanding of how the spine and nervous system are closely connected, and how spinal health influences overall body function. Chiropractic care is not only about alleviating pain - it is about supporting optimal nervous system function, and promoting long-term well-being.

I also came to appreciate the wide scope of chiropractic care across different stages of life - from supporting pregnant mothers as their bodies undergo significant biomechanical changes, to caring for babies experiencing birth-related tension, helping children who frequently run, tumble, and grow rapidly adapt and recover, and supporting teenagers during growth spurts, when spinal changes such as scoliosis may become more apparent.

What began as a desire to help my grandmother has grown into a deep passion for family-centered, holistic care. I am committed to helping individuals of all ages move better, function better, and live healthier lives through safe, evidence-based and compassionate chiropractic care.

03 / HER APPROACH

You deserve to understand
your own care.

01

Listen to your story.

Start with what you’ve noticed, when it began and how it affects your day. Your health history and concerns help guide the assessment.

Space to be heard

02

Assess what matters.

Look at relevant movement, posture and physical findings. The assessment is adapted to your age, circumstances and comfort.

A reason behind each step

Your symptoms matter. So do your questions, your comfort and the things you want to get back to.

03

Explain your options.

Understand the findings and proposed next steps before care begins. If another healthcare pathway is more appropriate, that will be explained.

05 / BEFORE WE MEET

A little clarity
before your visit.

You’re welcome to ask questions before booking. Our team can help you understand the appointment process.

What happens at my first appointment?

Your visit begins with a conversation about your concerns and health history, followed by an appropriate physical assessment. Priscilla explains the findings and discusses whether chiropractic care, further investigation or another healthcare pathway is suitable.

Will I need an X-ray?

Yes, imaging is part of the first-visit process at All Ages Chiropractic. It provides additional information about your spinal structure and alignment to support the clinical assessment and care planning.

Please note: X-rays are strictly excluded for pregnant mothers and baby.

Is the approach the same for every age?

No. The assessment, positioning and any proposed care are adapted to age, health history, comfort and individual findings. Pregnancy and children’s visits have their own considerations, which will be explained before care begins.

Do I need a referral to book?

No referral is needed to arrange an appointment. If you have recent imaging, medical reports or advice from another healthcare professional, bring those along so they can be considered.
